How Long Will It Take My Chihuahua To Deliver After The First?

When your chihuahua will reach at the end of gestation (Average 63 days) then she will show some signs of labor which can appear 8-48 hours before actual labors. These signs are

1. Decreased rectal temperature below 100 F
2. Agitation
3. Loss of appetite
4. Restless and pacing
   
5. Nesting behavior

After these signs, uterine contractions begin and true labor starts which can last for 6-24 hours. This is followed by delivery of first puppy. Then there can be a rest of maximum 2 hours and then second puppy will born. This process is repeated until all litter is born. This cab take 2-6 hours depending upon liter size.
