My min pin/chihuahua mix is 2.5 years old and was litter trained. Now she is pooping elsewhere in the house. I clean the litter box every other day. Why is she doing this? How do I get her to stop?

Could be she wants her box cleaned daily. Could be she's upset or not happy and stressed out about something and this is her way of saying so, sometimes even that they aren't feeling quite 100%. It could just be that you need to go back and reinforce your crate training  by going through that again which is common as well. Good Luck.
