The European bred Rotty is more blocky in the face and body...Overall a better looking Rottweiler.  The american bred has the longer thinner snout &  not as stout of a build...tend to become fat more easily European bred Rotty's also have fewer temperament issues and simply more true to the breed. With that said, an european bred rottie CAN be born in the US...it just means that his pedigree contains mainly European bloodlines and vice versa.

One has the stomach attached  three places and the other at 4 places. Don't ask me which dog.they love to roll this is why you never feed one a cerial based dog food.I had a friend who raised them and he had to traver 100 miles one way to get dog food from southern states.

The ONLY difference is one is born in Germany and one is born in America! There is just only 1 breed of a Rottweiler and its called a ROTTWEILER...as of 1999 tail docking in the ADRK club of Germany is outlawed! Do your research before you try to answer such a critical question! I am a owner of an American Rottweiler because he was born in Michigan!!
