I would like to say that you must be very observant and its lovely that your kitty is at the sink with you. I would also be inclined to take no notice of other comments that entice stupidity. I'm sure if your cat had a cut you would see this and if it needed patching up you wouldn't be asking the question.
I hear you and also have 'indoor cats' that only use kitty litter and paws leave minute specs of blood on the porcelain sink. If anyone can come up with a sensible answer I too would be interested in hearing it!
Yes cats mainucure and loose claws, but this isn't the problem? And if the vet can't see a cut or bleeding where does this leave you and I?? I wish I had an answer for both of us! BUT YOUR NOT ALONE!

SAME thing with my cat! He likes to get up on the sink and I noticed the same teeny blood specs! I've examined all his nails and pads and I see NOTHING. It's only when he gets up on the sink, too! Never anything on the carpet. I'm so glad I'm not alone but I wish I knew what it was!

I have been trying to find an answer and the only thing that makes further sense to me is that I was told it may be specks of blood dropping from the skin!!! I live in Nth Qld and try as I might sometimes the fleas just re infest (I treat fortnightly) but it may be flea bite specks dropping from the coat and not from the feet at all???? Any comments??

My cat has the same problem, once a while I will find a tiny bit of blood on the washroom sink. It doesn't smell anything. The cat seems fine itself.

I have a healthy water loving indoor cat that seems to leave little droplets of blood when playing in/on/around the bathroom sink. I have really looked at his paws & found no open wounds, broken claws, gashes or random shards of glass. I see it only when he is playing on bathroom sink vanity area or bathtub area. Yes, he likes water. My vet didn't see anything wrong either, so if anyone knows of this, we'd (the cat, the vet & I) love to know too.... Thanks.

Your cat needs to be examined by a veterinarian to determine where the blood is coming from.  If there is a cut or laceration it may need stitches.  Broken toenails/claws are quite common and can bleed a lot.  Appropriate treatment may include a bandage, anti-biotics, an Elizabethan Collar (if the cat is licking), and pain medication.

Don't listen to her! Look at its paws!!! It might have a piece of glass stuck in its foot!! If it does, take it to the vet!!

Are yo for real? 'Don't listen to her'?? Do you really think tiggers mom wouldn't have looked first, and possibly noticed a cut or break in the skin or even a broken toe nail. Geeeze lame

I see your problem take her to the vet and they should patch it up there should be no harm done. Hope this helps!
