More diagnostic testing needs to be done. Your dog needs to have x-rays taken to rule out bony involvement. A skin biopsy should be done on these lumps and sent out to the lab for analysis--this will tell you exactly what is going on. Also a bacterial culture should be performed to make sure this is not a resistant bacterial infection (MRSA is becoming more common in pets). A fungal culture needs to be performed--this could be fungal in origin.
