Do not give your cat cloves. These contain phenols that can lead to liver problems. If you are talking about garlic gloves--these too can be toxic to cats. If your cat has an abscessed or infected tooth he needs veterinary medical attention. It would be best to have your cat examined by a veterinarian and treated appropriately.
