Broken/fractured tooth can be dangerous for your cat. Because root canal can get bacterial infection. This condition also causes lot of pain. This bacterial infection can spread to bone of the affected area leading to bone damage. After this, bacteria from here can enter in to blood vessels and can travel to other parts of the body like kidney and heart which are vital organs. These organs can badly be damaged by these bacteria and leading to reduce function.
So, it will be better to take your cat to vet for examination and treatment.

Don't worry about it, if it's young it's OK. My cat is now 2 and when she was 1, one of her canines came out. It grew back and there was nothing to worry about
