Make sure your turtle is kept warm enough, Suitable temperature is very necessary, If they get cool they usually stop eating. For floating turtles always feed him in water, do not put food right in front of them. Put his food at locations, in his water pool, where he needs to move there to get it. Some turtles like it more to swim towards and catch their food in water.
