Young dogs get into a lot of mischief--this lump is most likely due to trauma or an insect bite/bee sting. Swollen face, lips, and other swelling can be due to either of these things.
If it is related to an insect bite hypersensitivity time and anti-histamines will help. You can use Benadryl at a dose of 1 milligram per pound of body weight. It comes in 25 milligram capsules. Do NOT use the Cold and Sinus variety.
If the bump is related to a traumatic event anti-inflammatories and again time will help. Do not give any human medications before consulting with your veterinarian.
Have your dog examined by a veterinarian to determine the cause of the bump and make sure it has not gotten a secondary infection. Appropriate medication will then be dispensed.
