Well, if she's put on the weight, and she looks eggplant shaped, it stands to reason that she might be pregnant. Her nipples changing like this would also be another indicator that she is. Odds are that you have a male and a female in the cage. If this isn't the case, then I couldn't say for sure what would be causing this. Hope this helps, good luck.

My guinea pig is 5 and she has these cysts in her stomach which makes her look pregnant. But what is odd is that her nipples are long and look like a pregnant guinea pigs nipples so I'm getting kinda concerned. She can't be pregnant  cause she was never around males and she has had them for almost two years.
I would suggest you see a vet. They can tell you for sure.
