No! There are wife's tales that a dog with black as the color of the inside of the mouth and tongue means the dog is a good pet! The darker and more concentrated the better of a pet it will be.

I have two pure bred pitbuls bot registerd and papered, neather one of them have black on the roof of there mouth. I also no probly 10 more that don't eather. I have heard this befor about healers and a guy said its a wifes tale!
Most pit bulls are a cross breed. To find a purebred, it is most likely a British import, so even the odds of having a purebred are not the best. Many dogs have black on the roof of their mouths, so unless you have papers, doubt this is a sure fire indicator
