Scold the cat with a stern "no." Don't yell it, but say it in a serious voice. Also, don't tease the cat with your hands, and don't do anything that may encourage it to play with your hands.

When a kitten bites you, leave the room or face the oppostie way of your kitten. A kitten really wants your attention, and when you ignore it when it bites you, it will realize that when it bites you, you ignore him.

It worked with my cat. Hope it works for you :)

Kittens often times bite everything in sight when they are teething, not much you can do but get a semi soft object they can rip apart

A cat will bite or play bite to show affection.A cat has a double jointed jaw like a snake, and can put a mans wrist in its mouth if it was really wanting to attack.A kitten nibbles and play bites for the samer reason. Do not punish the cat, but rather gently stroke it and allow the kitten to gently bite which will gain its confidence.Cats operate on the philosophy that to distrust everything at first is correct, and then to trust those whom they have learned to trust is safer!

Not true, the kitten bites because of its natural instinct, petting will make it think it is doing the right thing. You must ignore it.
