Yes dear she will, she is teething now just like a baby, it is hard to stop them from biting,I mean you can teach a kitten NO CLAWS when they are babies (I do) and they will, always remeber but it is kind of hard to say NO TEETH, but just gently tap the nose and say NO TEETH, they still bite but they learn to bite more gently, trust me, I have 16 furry children(as I call them) and I have 45 yrs kitty exp. Here on the oregon coast they call me THE CAT WHISPERER! So if you need any info on kitties or just want to talk cats, feel free to email me at felinestorm aol.com  god bless you, oh and what is your babies name?what kind too? The kittie on my avatar is my beautiful BABETTE BABY GIRL, she is a calico ragdoll, is 7yrs young, and mamma's favorite(shh, my kitties read too!) eme anytime, love catspaw

A light tap on the nose is all a cat need to feel to know it is doing something wrong. And by this I don't mean a slap, just take your finger and press on top of nose, this is also a way of a kitten playing so maybe get the cat some chew toys

I've attempted to tap her on the nose, it really just seems to increase her wanting to bite HARDER. She's a stinker. But I'm not going to give up on her. She adores my husband and daughter - never bites them :( I'm thinking about maybe using some of my honey's aftershave on my hands, jus' a tiny tiny bit so maybe she'll warm up to me like she does with him - all he says when she wants to bite him is "be sweet' and SHE IS! She licks him on his nose and fingers - makes me sad.

If its not breaking your skin ,it's playing,if its going for you, then this could be it's temperament, some cats loved to be stroked other will bite you when you try to stroke them.

Thank you, interestingly enough my kitten, now almost 4 months old, still loves to bite Me - she does not bite my husband.....or my daughter - and I was the one who fed her every 3 hours when she was so teeny tiny. 24-7 :( I'm still hoping that I will be the one she wants to be petted by and loved on without her biting me. She has lots of toys and also loves playing with our Yorkie too. She's beautiful but occasionally just goes crazy with the attacks and biting!

Oh I pray that it's not her temperament. She never bites my husband who has a deeper voice, and he simply says "be sweet" and then she licks him :( Also my daughter who is a teenager can pick her right up holding her like a baby in her arms on the kittens back and she's as sweet as pie. I'm beginning to think she jus' doesn' like me. And I was the one who got up with her every 3 hours to feed her 24 - 7 when my husband brought her home to me as a gift.....very sad.
