Cold nose in your dog is not symbol of health. Shivering in your dog can be due to normal and abnormal conditions. Exposure to clod and  swimming are normal conditions which can cause shaking in dogs. Some disease conditions can also cause shivering in dogs. These can be
  1. Pain
  2. Nervous conditions
  3. Fleas infestation
  4. Skin parasites
So, it will be better to take your dog to vet for proper diagnosis and treatment.

He/she may have a tummy ache or something minor. Wait a day or two and if it is still dry, take him/her to the vet.

Usually, dogs have cool,wet noses.
