Different dogs have different number of days in their menstrual cycle but they vary slightly. Average time period of bleeding in your pet should remain between seven to thirteen days. It occurs thrice a year. Your pet must have shown some behavioral changes in its menstrual cycle so you should not get worried about it. Take it to vet if you find any abnormality in it in this period because its pregnancy in future also depends on its healthy menstrual cycle.
