Bleeding in dogs during heat cycle can last for 7-10 days in case of 21 days cycle. Sometimes, heat cycle can be of 7-10 days and bleeding is ceased after 4-5 days. Breeding is not possible when dogs are bleeding. It takes place when bleeding is ceased or reduced and female dog show flagging.
