Swelling in the area of the sting and a little soreness. It is safe to give animals small amounts of Benadryl (antihistamine). Try cutting a children's Benadryl in half and make your cat take it, that should help the swelling go down; however, your cat will be lethargic for several hours... Make sure to keep a close eye on him if he gets worse or starts swelling in more areas besides where the bite is, especially in his throat and neck, he may be allergic to bee's (which is common) In that case you'll have to take him to the vet for a steroid shot and antihistamine shot – it is very important that if he's allergic to bee's you treat him as soon as possible so that it doesn't become a fatal situation. Good luck!
