Make sure he is healthy,, deworm it,, and get it on a good dog food like "canidae "all stage salmon meal,, thats what I feed my dog,, its one of the dog food that has the most protein, fat, calories out there,, hope this will work for your dog,, cus my pitbull does very wel on it
Feed it meat scraps and give it some fatty human food once or twice a week
Unless the dog is TOO skinny, or underweight, there's no reason to try and fatten it up. Obesity is just as bad for dogs, maybe worse, as it is for humans, and it greatly shortens their lifespan. If the dog is too thin, either it's not being fed enough, or it's being fed cheap, poor-quality food that has little nutritional value, or it has a health issue, and there are many health problems that can cause a dog to lose weight, Some young growing dogs will go through a lanky, awkward-looking stage in which they appear to be thin, but really aren't, and it is VERY bad for the health of a young, growing dog whose bones have not completely hardened to put on too much weight, since this will cause severe skeletal problems later on.
What can I feed my spotted pitbull to make him gain weight I can see his ribs and his back bone I really hate seeing my baby this way whats the best thing to feed him?
Why would you want to make your pitbull fat? That's unhealthy!
