Are Syrian Hamster On Sale At Petsmart?

Most large chain stores no longer carry syrian hamsters because they are far more susceptible to wet-tail a disease that is very contagious amongst rodents. They get diarrhea and die. Dwarf hamsters and gerbils do better in pet stores. This is unfortunate considering syrian hamsters are much calmer and make better pets.

They do have them at some of them cause I went to one yesterday and they had some for 10.00

Generally... It depends on the Petsmart you go to. Some mainly have it. Some Pet smarts register one type of the hamster more often because of the customers that buy it, or they just don't have it. I was looking for a Russian Dwarf Hamster in my local pet stores such as Pet land, Petsmart and, Petco. But Syrian Hamsters weren't in my local Petsmart. The only hamster there was Dwarf Hamsters.

I have a friend how got one at petsmart. She paid $7.00 for it.I pretty sure it was not on sale but it was really cheep compared to petco.

Am sure there is because I live really close 2 a petsmart nd there ar lots and lost.am gettin 1 on monday :}

Well, I thought they weren't at Petsmart.. Maybe Petco or somewhere. I was looking for one. I know they do sell them in some places. I wanted to get a Syrian hamster. But some places they mostly will. Some places don't. Or try looking for one at Petco or. Or go to a one of a kind place.
