It depends what kind you get..... I just got a robo hamster today and it was 14.99 at petco..
The teddy bear hamsters were 7.99 and the dwarf hamsters were 10-12 dollars good luck buying a new hamster !!!

If you have allergies then the best one is short haired hamster that only costs10 bucks.
