My siberian husky is about to give birth soon . She is bleeding now and the blood seems almost black. Is it common?

Sometimes, but they bleed mostly after they have delivered all the puppies. You might see some spoting before an actual puppy if she does not deliver one before 24hrs call your vet.
This is NOT a normal process as previously stated!
