Shine a bright torch close to the egg and hopefully you will see the outline of the chick. The eggs have to be turned regularly if you are incubating them yourself.
We used to put them in a bucket of water, the ones that float have chicks.
You can hold it up to a bright light and then you may see the outline of a chick inside.
Well if it is an egg from the supermarket then it has no chick
but if you put one in incubator that you have bought that are fertile then yes it will Hatch
but you cannot tell till you keep it int the incubator for a certain amount of time then you will find out if it has a chick because it will Hatch and the only way is after a week after its been in an incubator you can open it but I will guarantee you it will die.
