A female cat can be spayed when the kittens are eight weeks of age, when they can be weened and are ready to go to new homes . Waiting until you have found homes for all the kittens is advised, so they will not try to nurse and possibly cause the mother harm after her surgery. Remember that some cats can go into heat a few weeks after giving birth, so keep her inside and away from male cats until you can get her to the vet to be fixed.
I would wait until she is not nursing the kittens. That way the kitten wont hurt her when they nurse.you can wean kitten at six weeks of age.
You can have a female cat spayed as early as two weeks after the kittens are weaned.
