Aw, please don't be quick to punish them. Your pet may be having anxiety problems. Like maybe missing you if you work? Or sometimes, actually, a lot of times, they are just playing. Depending on how old your dog is, it could just be them being a baby,ei; teething, so they chew things up. There are some really good books out there. My suggestion is to read or listen to anything Ceasar Milan has to say. You can find him on the animal planet station; dog whisperer. He's great.
