What Do Doves Eat?

Mourning doves in my yard eat wild bird seed from my feeder ONLY after it's fallen from other birds to the ground. SO, get wild bird seed (found at Walmart for Pete's sake!) and put it in a flat feeder low to the ground if not just spread...the problem with spreading on the ground is that you will more than likely sprout weeds from the seeds!

They eat mainly mixed wild seeds or some really small fruits (or worms)

I have a dove in my tree I think they eat fruit or berries

I don't know um seeds I guess they are really cool I luv them

Doves are seed eaters, and so corn bread, fortified wild bird sead, cockateil bird seed mix
