Dog gestation periods vary by breed.  58-68 is considered normal.  I wouldn't panic yet.  She's still within the parameters.  As long as she is eating, drinking and looking healthy you can watch and wait.

However, if she shows any distress --- get her to the vet!  You may wish to call to find out the gestation period for her particular breed, and for general advice.  Phone calls to the vet are free and give you peace of mind.

The vet and research will help you do what's best for your dog.  Congratulations to the new mommy!

At the very least you should call your vet. They would know your dog and should be able to give you a fair assessment of what is going on, and when and if you should be concerned.

As Happy said, average length of gestation in dogs is 58-68 days, but we have no idea where your dog "should" carry her pups before giving birth.

A call to the vet will give you some peace of mind and possibly avoid any potential problems.
