Why Do My Hamster Sleep Alot?

well it depends you know, it is true that hamster's save there energy for night and it could be normal or if it is a female hamster you could of bought her pregnant? If she really is pregnant and you really want to find out then...
1. She sleeps a lot
2.she piles a lot of food were she sleeps
3. Her tummy gets bigger

It's true that hamster's sleep at day to get lots of energy at night yes..
but it is also nature, all hamster's are like that so you really don't need to worry about it your hamster will be just fine :D

Soometimes pregnant hamster sleep a lot in the night but in the day time the sleep in the day and play in the night because they are two resons
1.to get more energy in the night.
2.they do not like sunlight.

They like to sleep at day time so they use up a lot of energy at night time so if your playing with it a lot give it a rest.

I just got a hamster and she is already asleep. Does she not have to adapt to the surroundings as it is all knew to her. How can shE sleep?

I think its because there with childs or there sick I don't know my hamsters dosent go on it wheel
at night any more I can't figure it out

It means that it was up playing all night.
