Can a daddy long legs bite a dog?

Highly unlikely... Although they do bite, their fangs are not long enough to puncture our skin. And it stands to reason, the same would apply to Fido as well.
Not to mention the addition of the fur coat I presume it to be wearing :)

They could bite but it couldnt puncture you or your dogs skin.

Yeah but he/she wouldn't feel it. It wouldn't hurt or damage you AT ALL. Your dog wouldn't let the Daddy Long Legs near it either. Unless it's sleeping, that is.

My little pappillion got bit by something had a allergic reaction and the only thing i could see was daddy longlegs so was just trying to assatain whether it could have been that thanks for the stupid answer by Peter my little dog was quite sick and i was trying to determine what bit him

It could be somthing else. It might be worms or fleas give your 'little pappillion' agood bath then take it to the vet.

Ok stop. Dont call a vet. In reality they are indeed very poisonous, but their fans can't puncture our skin let alone a dogs skin with fur. Don't call unless it was a venomous snake or something.
