This could be a neurological problem or could signify pain, discomfort, fear/anxiety, or a decrease in body temperature. Your dog needs to be examined by a veterinarian to localize the lesion and start appropriate treatment. There is not one set reason dogs shake and without an examination no one can help you pin point the problem.
