Whats the difference between 'sea ticks' and normal ticks? I just pick the ticks off my dog by hand, but I've been doing so for years, so maybe you'd be best off with tweezers. Just make sure you get all of the tick when you try to take it out. If you don't like those ideas, you could use a alchol wipe, rub it over the tick, to try and kill it before removing it.
