not really but what you can do is buy one of those leaches and put them on your cat and the flea will go away
If you use hairspray on a cat, it's going to cause more problems than fleas. It will matt the cats fur up and make a sticky mess, that kitty is of course (being the clean creatures that they are), going to attempt to clean it off with his/her tongue. That's not going to make kitty a very happy or well cat!
It really is easier and quicker to use a product specifically for fleas e.g. Advantage or Frontline, both available over your vet counter without a consultation.
