Why Has My Goose Been Sitting On An Empty Nest And Has Stopped Laying Eggs?

She is gone broody. She thinks that there is eggs there because when she started to lay her clutch of eggs you have took them and now that you took them she thinks they are still there and now gone broody on a empty nest. I would recommend to go and get some fertilized goose eggs and put them under her.

Thank you so much for the info! Another strange thing that she has been doing recently is she somehow takes ducks eggs and puts them under her. As long as a bear doesn't come and eat her, I guess we'll have a goose with ducklings! :)

If i was you i would put her inside so a bear don't get her and put the duck eggs under her and let her hatch the duck eggs.
