Stress colitits is possible.  However when a puppy has bloody diarrhea a big concern is parvovirus.  This is a very serious and potentially life threatening problem.  It attacks the lining of the intestines, allows bacteria it get into the entire body leading to sepsis.  Treatment needs to be immediate and aggressive.
Other causes of gastrointestinal upset include dietary indiscretion, intestinal parasites, and diet problems.
Puppies are very prone to hypoglycemia, hypothermia, and dehydration when they become ill.  Your puppy is at risk.
Have your puppy seen immediately by a veterinarian.

Hello Eileenq, You need to take your yorkie to the vet asap! It has a very bad tummy ache right now.  I wouldn't wait to see if it gets any better, I had the same thing happen to my minature schnauzer, I waited to see if it was going to get better and it got worse fast.  Your yorkie is might have a  digestive tract infection.  They will give you antibiotics and special food for it for about a week or so.  good luck.

My new puppy has the same problem accept she has already had the parvo shot on the 15th of december and she still has a bit of the runs and a little bit of blood about every other poop.  Does anyone know if this is just do to diet change or stress since she has been treated for parvo already???

I brought my 9 week old westie home from the breeder on tuesday so have only had him four days and he hasnt really eaten properly since then, he is a lively little thing but does have diarrhea and a little bit of blood in it... I am feeding him just chicken (cooked chicken) at the moment its all he will seem to eat, can anyone please advise why he isn't eating much and has diarrhea...... He has a skin allergy I just wondered if this was causing him stress which is making him not to want to eat.
