Yes it is possible she is getting worse. Liver disease can potentially be painful for dogs. Pacing and discomfort sitting or being picked up is a sign of pain/discomfort. There could also be a new problem causing her to feel poorly. She needs to be examined by a veterinarian, have her liver values checked, and have her screened for other causes of pain.
