Black and brown border collie.
Typically a herding dog, the border collie has become a hugely popular breed of pet. It is the most widespread of collie breeds and is known for its mild manner, intelligence and energy.

All border collies can trace their genetic origin back to the "original" border collie stud called "Old Hemp".

• Border collies are medium-sized dogs which can come in a variety of different colors - although the most traditional border collie colors are black and white.
