Then you must call the vet and see if they can give you a proper emergency procedure if it's immediately or just call them and tell them you are on the way with a pup who is poisoned by benadryl. It can be fatal. I hope you were just asking and your pups okay.

Why would you give a dog benadryl? Just sounds really bad it one thing if you smoke youre pets out but yahh.

Yes it can. Benadryl poisoning is quite common due to well meaning people doing the wrong thing and giving their pet medication without a vets supervision and instruction (often can be done over the phone with your regular vet). If you gave your pup benadryl and now things don't seem right call your veterinarian, poison control, or local emergency clinic immediately though your pup will probably have to be seen.
