Different hair usually but Labs shed a lot and Boxers shed as well. Feeding a high quality diet (5 or 6 star rated on the analysis site appropriate for breed(s) and growth stages) can help and you can also have them professionally bathed at the groomer to help. No cage drying (ever is preferable, it's not safe but also won't get the looser coat out the same as the hand drying). Make sure they use a 'force' dryer. Still some shedding for a few days while they lose some loose hair and then a drastic reduction if they do a good job. Between the two it will greatly reduce shedding in most cases.
