If your dog is in heat then bleeding can be normal. If your dog is having dark discharge after the delivery of puppies then it can also be normal. This discharge can continues for 3 weeks but tends to decline as time passes. Bleeding during delivery of puppies is also normal. Other than these conditions, bleeding is not normal and should be investigated by the vet.
