The average life span of the American Staffordshire terrier is about between 12 to 15 years, anything before of after is abnormal to the Amstaff. My Amstaff is almost 4 years old and I hope he will be here forever. :)

My dog is 13 years old and weights 85lbs. He still is very strong and very sweet.. He does have tumors on his body. Some are small, and the one  on his chest  is large. His legs are giving him trouble now but  he is still going strong. I think he'll live a few more years. These are wonderful and loyal dogs. I love him.
