Please check you dog bowls. If your dogs water bowls are not kept clean enough the dog's ears will get the black mold/fungus from the bowl onto their ears and it is a bear to get rid of. Once you have determined that is what it is you will want to treat its wounds with hydrogen peroxide and neosporin repeatedly, like twice daily.....This will do the trick.

My puppy had almost no hair when I got him. They did a test for mange but it turned out it was just a skin condition. She put him on medicine twice a day for 21 days and also told me to put one vitamin e capsule on his food daily. Its only been two weeks but I can see the hair growing back already

Though these things most likely aren't going to hurt your pup, you should probably take him to the vet. It could be mange if he isn't kept terribly clean, it could also be stress, so for the health of the dog, you should just take him in. Hope this helps, good luck.

My puppy is 12 weeks old , and I notice that on both front elbows he is missing hair what should I do to have that hair grow back in that area, notice it doesn't seem like a rash.

Hello,
It sounds like the same thing that is happening to my puppy pug. She has been to the vet and is 100% healthy but she has this build up on the tips of her ears and if you rub it off the hair falls out with the build up. I have not idea what this is from. Did you ever get an answer? Did it go away?

Same as you would yourself . Use a moisturiser cream , or Savlon, put cod liver oil in the dogs diet to help get rid of the dryness. Make sure the dog doesn't have mites.
