They should be checked out 24 hours or so after birth to be sure thing's went okay and there isn't anything retained to cause infection and/or need an oxytosin injection so be sure to mention it then just in case. It is pretty common when they eat too many placenta's so probably not that big of a concern unless your seeing other signs of a problem and something you can wait to ask about until your check up.
