That's an Earwig. That "fork" is actually a pincher, by the way. People used to believe that these would live in wigs, and crawl out at night and enter people's ears and eat their brains! That is a wives' tale, but they can give a slight pinch, and they can be pests indoors because they love to eat paper products.
