I Have A Lizard In The Backyard It Has An Orange Head Black Body And Purple Tail. What Is It?

I have these, too, in San Diego Mountains. They're BIG lizards - sometimes only an orange head, sometimes only a blue tail, sometimes both (blue tail is striped like a raccoon.) I don't know what they are, either.
