They can take a lot of extra work and care and there's never any guarantees with breeding but you may lose them all depending on how developed they are.
Bulldog went a week before day 59 because she somehow managed to carry 12 pups on her first litter (at 3). Serious, great professional breeder that knows how to care for pups (since it's par for the course with bully's anyway but this lady KNOWS her Bully's and how to raise pups). Managed to have 6 or 7 reach placement age (which is amazing) and adulthood and all doing fabulous. Same dog developed a polyp around the time of they next cycle (NOT scheduled for breeding) and was spayed (usually necessary) and adopted out to a pet home and family because there may have been a hormonal issue (causing the polyp and possibly contributing to the pregnancy issues) for the dog that made her unacceptable for breeding and not fair to her. She is doing great now and placing very well in obedience competitions I believe :-).
