Is It Ok To Bathe Mother Dog After She Has Puppies?

It is best NOT to bathe a dog after giving birth as it will stress her out more to be away from her pups and it will change her scent stressing the pups out.Best to wait til after 3 weeks or so before bathing her .If she is a mess just use a warm wet wash cloth to spot clean her and give her a good brushing.

It is best to leave the mother alone with her pups and keep her from getting stressed.

You should bath your dog 3 weeks after she has pups as it might* just take away the scent the puppies have for their mother
