A white owl usually eats lemmings and rodents such as rats, mice, hamsters and other similar animals. They also hunt on grouse and other similar kind of birds. They do have a capacity to eat larger animals and mammals such as deer, ostrich, lamb, goat and even a boar and a pig. White owls are also known as Snowy Owl, Arctic Owl and the Great White Owl. This bird is usually found in all parts of North America and Canada. They have the ability to hunt during the day and night as well. They are a famous breed of birds and is a national bird of Quebec. The snowy owl is more famously seen in Harry Potter movies. It is a pet bird of Harry Potter.
