Yes, stomach disorders in dogs can cause excessive salivation or drooling in dogs. There can be many other problems that can cause drooling in dogs like Mouth, gum and dental diseases, tongue injury and some metabolic diseases. If your dog is also showing some of the following symptoms then take him to vet.

   1. Lip Swelling
   2. Mouth swellings
   3. Eating and drinking problems
   4. Foul odor from mouth
   5. Breathing problems
   6. Vomiting
   7. Lethargy
   8. Weakness

Stomach disorders should be immediately treated because they can cause serious health issues in dogs. So, in my opinion, you should take your dog to vet.
