Aj Delinger maybe you should check your history before accusing people of making things up. The original St. Bernards bred by the monks had a typical weight of 300lbs. There is a 13 month old St. Bernard in my dog class that weighs over 210 lbs so don't assume you know everything because obviously you don't and making accusations about people making up stories about their own dogs just makes you sound uneducated and arrogant.

I have a 8 month old female saint.  She is 90 lbs.  Her mother is 160 and her father is 190.  At one year old they should be about 70% of their adult weight.  Remember that unlike other dogs they grow until they are 3 years old.  To tell if it is healthy feel its body.  You shouldnt be able to feel its spine anywhere but should be able to feel its ribs with only slight pressure, you want to need to push in, but not hard.  Saints can range in adult weight from about 110 to 220 lbs and be healthy anywhere in the middle.

Half you people are crazy!!!  160lbs. At 9 months?  Ok!!! And a bunch of the others too.. The one post on here is that at one year of age the saint will be aprox. 70% of there mature weight.. So lets say your 9 month old dog continues to grow at the pace you have presented.. By one year the saint will be aprox. 215lbs... Wow--so when fully mature  this saint will be almost a world record and weigh in over 300 lbs... Come on people..when someone asks a question answer it if you can ..if not keep your stories to yourself..they really make you look 100% uneducated on your own dog!!!
