My cat has the exact same thing. At first I thought she had cut herself and they were scabs but every single time I took them off, they would appear again! I was getting worried that it might be something serious. I have heard a lot of people stating it is normal and not to worry so hopefully they are right!
My cat gets black nose boogers regularly. I clean them with my nails daily but she hates it. If I'm out of town for a few days they get really crusty and hard to remove. Does anyone have a proper method of remove caked on cat boogers?
They don't start off as hard, but when they come out and are exposed to air, they dry, harden and darken. Best to wipe with a warm moist cloth to clean
