The gestation period of a cat is 60-67 days. There are a few noticeable changes that occur when your cat is pregnant. Weight gain and abdominal enlargement occur after about 4 weeks. The nipples become pinker and the mammary glands enlarge after about 7 weeks. Other signs include changes in behaviour like restlessness, anxiety, seeking solitude. If you suspect your cat is pregnant you should feed a high quality diet and ensure lots of clean fresh water is available. She will also need a place to nest to give birth to her kittens.
